Function
A width measurement with highly compact CCD cameras or wide band sensors contactlessly measure the material edges and supply one or more width value(s) depending on the requirements. These can be displayed or output for the purpose of quality control. Width monitoring is also possible with our system.
Area of use
In production systems of the tire industry
Application
The width measurement is carried out using transmitted light. The web must be run flat and may not show any height variants. One or two cameras can be used.
