Sanforizing is still a hallmark for the highest quality even today. The weft and warp density is the characteristic value for system control. Here, our ELCOUNT warp and weft counting system is used. It operates without contact by evaluating an image using Fourier transformation and does not require a moving web. For this reason the accuracy is unmatched and even laboratory use is possible at any time. The necessary software can run on a customer PC.
Sanforizing process for denim:
On account of the so-called twill weave in the fabric, denim has a "skewed" weft, which is the hallmark of the appropriate product. The ELCOUNT system detects both the density of a web and the angle of the weft. In this way, the supplier can log for the customer, if required, all the important production parameters necessary for the highest product quality.
