Albert Leimer Foundation – We sponsor science and research in the Augsburg region
The Albert Leimer Foundation was founded in 1986, and since then it has supported science and research in technical fields, natural sciences, and economic science at the University of Augsburg and at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg.
Here, the foundation performs numerous activities to help both individual students as well as specific projects and workshops. The goal of the Albert Leimer Foundation is to support – as unbureaucratically as possible – forward-looking ideas that tie in with the principles and objectives of the Foundation. In addition, every year grants are awarded for talks and lectures, financial assistance is granted to help students prepare their doctoral theses, and guest professorships or guest lectures are supported.
ELCARE – We support our employees and their families all around the world
Since the company was first founded in 1919, Erhardt+Leimer has evolved into an internationally leading supplier of automation technology. Today, E+L employs over 1,600 people worldwide. Every single one of these employees plays their part in the global success of the company. For this reason, we took the opportunity at the company's 95th anniversary in 2014 to express our gratitude to our employees by calling into life a support fund for our employees. ELCARE – The foundation for our employees, their families, and the people at E+L's sites around the world. The ELCARE Foundation offers help to people who are in difficulties, particularly at all the sites of the Erhardt+Leimer group of companies in Germany and abroad, by offering direct, unbureaucratic assistance in situations where public or private help cannot be provided, is insufficient, or cannot be provided in time.
