Function
Tube slitting system for untwisting and slitting open tubular knitted fabrics. The drop stitch is automatically detected by the tube slitting system and cut open according to the reference line. Then, the slit web is spread out and guided to the web center using a segmented roller guider system. A further spreading roller system directly in front of the traction unit prevents the web edges from rolling in again. The web is plaited into a stack for further processing.
