Erhardt+Leimer is Bavarian Family Business 2023

Last Thursday, Dr. Proeller had the honor to receive the award for Bavarian Family Business of the Year 2023 in Munich.

The prize has been awarded annually since 2012 by the association Die Familienunternehmer e.V. and underlines the importance of family businesses as the foundation of the German economy. Also honored this year was Horsch Maschinen GmbH from Schwandorf.

„Erhardt+Leimer reflects exactly what German entrepreneurship stands for,“ said the jury. On the one hand, E+L is committed to social causes through the Albert Leimer Foundation, which promotes technical, scientific and economic research at Augsburg University and the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, and through the ELCARE Foundation, which supports employees in need and their families at all E+L locations worldwide. On the other hand, the focus is on the employees and locations worldwide and on the development of innovative products for future-oriented markets. This is exactly the special combination of tradition and future that characterizes a family-owned company.

Dr. Proeller was delighted to receive the award and commented: „Receiving this special prize is a great incentive for our company and for me personally to continue the success story of Erhardt+Leimer. Family businesses are the decisive success factor of the economy, and we are proud to be a part of it. In particular, I would like to thank all employees worldwide who deserve this award!
